Nothing in the universe will move without the help from an outside force. That statement is supported by Newton's First Law, "an object in motion or an object in rest will remain in motion or in rest unless acted on by an outside force". An easier term to help explain this law is known as "Inertia". Inertia simply means, "nothing will move on it's own".
The video was engaging in the way the scientist presented Newton's first law. In addition, your post was well worded and focused on the important information. Now I loved the way the scientist explained the law and how they were going to apply it in the experiment, fairly well. It made me want to know how many other ways the first law can be demonstrated. However, it all felt like it was just skimming the surface of the concept. There are a few things the scientist mentioned by name, but failed to fully explain. So just watch out for videos that are filled with a lot of banter and jokes. It can be funny, but take away the focus from the important information. Overall, the post was both enjoyable to watch and read.
